So we managed to keep the Butterflies alive, don't ask me how since we were gone the week they were supposed to hatch. We made it just in time, they hatched the very next day we came home. In terror of killing them again we released them soon after they emerged from their cocoon. We had one butterfly that came with deformed wings and could not even walk let alone ever fly. Larry asked if we coul keep that one as a pet...isn't that cute. He trys hard to fly but his little crippled wings keep flipping him over onto his back, poor thing. It was fun to see the rest of them fly around our back yard for a second and then disappear over the fence. Aren't Butterflies magical!
This is as close to touching a butterfly Honey would get.

thoughs are some great photos! Is it the kind of thing where you get the baby catepillars and a home and watch them grow. It sounds cool. That last post was a doozie!
